After picking up the brush again, I often use photos from my travels in Japan as subjects for my watercolor practice. Over time, it has become a habit; as long as there are elements of light, the landscapes of Taiwan frequently appear in my paintings.

I am LIN CHE FENG, a watercolor painter from Taiwan. Since graduating from the Department of Fine Arts at Fuxing Commercial and Industrial School in 1987, my artistic career has focused on capturing and expressing the beauty and emotions of Japanese landscapes. From 2000 to 2016, I delved into the fields of computer graphics and illustration, but ultimately, my heart and soul were still drawn to traditional watercolor. 

In 2016, I established the Facebook page "LIN CHE FENG Japanese Landscape Watercolor," focusing on sharing my insights and works related to Japan's natural landscapes and cultural scenes. I discovered that watercolor not only showcases the subtle changes of light and shadow but also expresses a profound emotional connection. Teaching has become one of the ways for me to share this passion, as I explore the wonders of watercolor alongside thousands of students, growing together. 

I have exhibited my works in several domestic exhibitions and held a solo exhibition titled "Colors of Light" in 2019, which was a reflection and outlook on my artistic journey. Through my brush, I hope to continue exploring the dialogue between light and color, sharing more hidden beauties with the world.
